Set in a mysterious post-nuclear wasteland inspired by the worlds of Fallout and Dune, you have been left to die. Facing brutal mutant enemies, impossible terrain, and dwindling supplies, your only hope is to put your trust in a wandering service bot called ALAN. Together you will explore, fight and survive, in your bid to escape The Wasteland.

The demo contains the entire first area, with every feature you'll find in the full game.

ALAN is an eccentric and optimistic robot who loves a good sunset. But behind his buoyant personality is a mechanical marvel, capable of unnatural agility and strength. Use ALAN to move heavy boulders, hoist you up to high places, and battle mutant monsters.

Exploration is key to escaping The Wasteland. Find quirky and dangerous characters, scavenge for water and supplies, and uncover the ancient lore of the nuclear apocalypse. Rolling sand dunes, creepy caves, radiation lakes and towering cliffs are just some of the environments you'll find on your travels.

In true Metroidvania style, new areas are ability locked. But not by your abilities - by ALAN's. Upgrade ALAN with scraps you find on your journey to give him powerful and exciting abilities.

Giant worms roam the radioactive wasteland. They are terrifying, deadly, and glorious (as the resident cultists would say). Where they came from, why they're here and how they got so big is largely unknown. Can you unearth their secrets?

Developer Note

Vitrified is being developed by one dude who loves atmospheric adventure games. Because of this, development takes  a long time, so please be kind! However, it will release in 2027. The game also respects your time, so expect a tight, hand-crafted experience that will take most players about 5 hours to complete.
