About This Game

Cloudbreaker is a roguelite survivors-like where you explore a sky-world, defeating hordes of enemies. Upgrade and optimize your arsenal with an inventory management puzzle system. Unlock and upgrade airships, each with its own unique layout, abilities, and strategies, to grow your power over time.

Explore & Survive:

Delve down through the clouds into a sky-world rife with danger and riches. Discover ruins filled with scrap, relics, and resources to power up your ship. Survive against hordes of Biotes; the lingering biotech experiments of past civilizations. Defeat bosses to break through cloud layers and descend deeper into the depths of the sky.

Upgrade:

To survive, you must carefully upgrade your ship to contend with increasing dangers as you descend. Defeating Biotes earns you Bloil that your ship converts into Engine Parts. These Engine Parts can be installed in your Engine Grid: an inventory management puzzle system.

Optimize:

Placement of Engine Parts is key. Each Engine Part interacts with the grid in unique ways, creating powerful synergies. This forces you to carefully consider where each new part is installed, and plan your build accordingly. Weapons also have their own upgrade trees, redefining how they function, adding another layer of depth to your build.

Thrive:

Your power grows over time as you unlock new parts and airships. Each ship has its own unique Engine Grid layout, and abilities, that lend themselves to new strategies and builds.

As you progress, you will customize each ship by powering its upgrade tree, tailoring it to your particular playstyle
