The underground is just teeming with untold secrets, so we’ve created this official guidebook for explorers who really want to get to grips with all things Core Keeper. From the start of your adventure all the way to late-game content, you’ll find everything you need to know alongside official lore drops, top tips, fun facts, and 100 hand-drawn illustrations.

Whether you’re setting out on your first expedition or you’ve been with us since day one of Early Access, you’ll discover a wealth of knowledge and information in the Explorer’s Guide – including detailed information on the underground’s various creatures, biomes, and resources. We even reached out to our community members and ambassadors for top-tips for your adventures and build recommendations!

To top it all off, we've included a bunch of original concept art and official key art alongside the Explorer's Guide. We hope you enjoy looking back over the artwork and ideas we've conceptualised over the years.

Are You Having Trouble Finding The Explorer’s Guide? Here's How To Access The Files ⬇️

To find your Explorer’s Guide for Core Keeper, please follow the steps below:

Open Steam and go to your Library.

• Right-click Core Keeper.

• Click “Properties.”

Confirm the DLC Is Enabled,

• In the Properties dialog box, click “DLC.”

• Make sure the Core Keeper - Explorer’s Guide DLC is ticked (checked).

• Steam should automatically download the files once the DLC is checked

Open the Installation Folder,

• Click “Installed Files.”

• Click “Browse…” to open the file explorer.

Locate the Artbook,

• In the game’s installation directory, open the folder named: Explorer's Guide

The Digital Book, the Concept Art collection and the Key Art collection files are located inside this folder.
