Why Early Access?

“GameZone’s core single-player and online co-op experience is fully playable, but we still have substantial additions and improvements planned before declaring the game complete. Early Access gives us an opportunity to refine progression, balancing, and multiplayer using feedback from a wider community while developing the additional content planned for 1.0.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We are currently targeting an Early Access period lasting until early 2027. This timeframe may change depending on community feedback and the development and testing required to meet our quality standards for 1.0.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan for the full version to expand and refine several parts of the store-management experience. Our current priorities include deeper employee and stock interactions, more flexible stack storage, improvements to deliveries, additional products to sell, expanded modding possibilities, and more responsive physical audio.
The exact scope and order of these additions may change based on technical testing and community feedback during Early Access. Alongside this work, we will continue improving multiplayer stability, balancing, performance, and general quality of life.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version contains GameZone’s complete core gameplay loop and can be played solo or in 1–4-player online co-op. Players can manage and customise their store, stock and sell products, operate physical checkouts, handle online orders, and grow their business.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We expect the price to increase slightly when GameZone leaves Early Access to reflect the additional content and improvements introduced during development. Players who purchase during Early Access will receive the full 1.0 release without an additional charge.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will collect feedback through Steam Discussions and our community channels, publish regular development updates and patch notes, and use player reports and suggestions to guide balancing, usability improvements and development priorities.”
