What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“The game is being developed by a single person, and Early Access allows me to grow the project together with the players.
Community feedback is essential for improving the mechanics, balance, and atmosphere.
Since PHUY is a cooperative horror game that heavily relies on player interaction, real-world testing and feedback are a key part of development.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“There’s no fixed release date yet — the plan is for roughly 6 to 12 months, but this may change depending on progress and feedback.
During this time, I plan to expand the game with new locations, item types, and features that strengthen cooperation and tension between players.
The main goal is to reach a stable, content-rich, and well-balanced version.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to include additional locations, item types, objectives, and dynamic events that may enhance the overall gameplay.
I also plan to expand monster behavior, add new cooperative features, and refine the overall feel of the game based on player feedback.
The core idea will remain the same, but every session is expected to become more varied, intense, and unpredictable.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version already includes the core mechanics: movement, item interaction, door system, companion robot, basic monster behavior, and 1–4 player co-op.
The game is playable and stable, but still needs further polish, optimization, and additional content.
Players can already experience the main gameplay loop, while new updates and improvements are planned throughout Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price may increase slightly after leaving Early Access to reflect additional content and improvements.
Early supporters will be able to experience the game at a lower price and help shape its development.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The plan is to maintain active communication through Discord, Steam discussions, and social media.
Players will be able to share ideas, report bugs, and suggest improvements.
Special attention will be given to feedback about balance, monster behavior, and the overall co-op experience — the goal is to make the project feel alive and shaped together with the community.”

About This Game

Explore abandoned locations and return the items to their rightful places.

Each task begins with a set of photographs showing the rooms and objects where the delivered items must be placed. Stay alert — some of them might be fake, trapped, or simply wrong. Look for clues in the environment, compare every detail on the photos, listen carefully, and don’t rush — any mistake might wake up what’s hiding nearby.

Hold the doors if you want to survive.

Sometimes that’s the only thing separating you from what’s roaming the halls. Stay coordinated — while one player sorts the items, another keeps the path open. Or closed. Mistakes and panic decide the outcome faster than the monster ever will.

Keep track of your vitals through your robot companion.

It monitors your health, noise, weight, and other important parameters. Sometimes it reacts to danger before you even notice it — flickering, warning, or freezing completely. Work as a team, make decisions on the fly, and try to survive the shift… not every courier manages to finish theirs.
