Why Early Access?

“We’re launching Heartlands in Early Access to involve players directly in shaping the game’s development. While the core gameplay systems are already in place, we want community feedback to help refine balance, expand features, and prioritize content updates.

Early Access allows us to test new ideas, improve performance, and grow the game alongside our players. Your feedback will directly influence future updates, including new mechanics, content, and quality-of-life improvements.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Heartlands to remain in Early Access for approximately 6–12 months, depending on development progress and community feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan for the full version of Heartlands to expand on the current foundation with additional content, systems, and overall polish. This includes more types of creations, expanded gameplay mechanics, and additional progression options.

We also plan to continue improving performance, balancing, and user experience based on player feedback throughout Early Access. Our goal is to deliver a more complete, refined, and content-rich experience by full release.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of Heartlands is fully playable and includes the core gameplay loop, key mechanics, and initial content. Players can experience the main systems and get a solid sense of the game’s direction.

However, the game is still in active development. Some features are incomplete or may change, content is limited compared to the planned full version, and players may encounter bugs or performance issues. We are actively working on updates and improvements.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually increase the price as new content and features are added during Early Access. Players who join early will get the game at a lower price while helping shape its development.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to involve the community throughout Early Access by actively collecting feedback and incorporating it into development decisions. Players will be able to share suggestions, report bugs, and discuss the game through the Steam Community Hub and other channels.

We intend to review feedback regularly and use it to guide balancing, feature improvements, and future content updates. We will also communicate updates and changes transparently so players can see how their input is shaping Heartlands over time.”

Design your own blocks, items, skins, sounds, NPCs, and more using the built-in pixel editor — then upload them to a shared world where other players can use them instantly.
