About This Game

Deathwish Bloom is a romance-mystery visual novel set in a world fractured by earthquakes.

Can you survive your own secrets?

You didn't mean to lie, but was there really any other way? No one else knew the cure existed before it didn't. You have its formula but only shards of the circumstances surrounding its disappearance.
You didn't mean to fail that experiment, but could you ever fully trust your mind since the day of the first earthquake?
At least your choice of morally questionable allies didn’t need an explanation. That was obvious. You were head over heels.

Play as Sky Harlow, a disgraced researcher making a last-ditch attempt to recreate a lost cure.
Thread your way through the Science City, where nothing you do goes unnoticed.
Scavenge Quake Lands, experiment with strange foods, befriend a chameleon mouse and get closer to people whose obsessions can both help and destroy you.

Romance Alice, whose unhinged effervescence only matches her loyalty.
Cody, who sees through you and refuses to look away.
Gabriel, who offers a wholesome future that you don't deserve.
Or choose friendship even when Sky's heart says otherwise.

Every bond brings you closer to what will pull you apart, unless...

ROMANCEABLE CHARACTERS:

CHARACTER CAST:

FEATURES:

  • Nuanced relationship system: no visible score. Characters interpret your actions over time, changing how they treat you and what they do. Make your choice and live with what people thought you meant.

  • Romance & friendship: pursue a forbidden enemies-to-lovers romance with Cody, or friends-to-lovers romance with Alice or Gabriel. Or choose friendship even if your feelings are more complicated than that.

  • Branching story, multiple endings: is Sky's story one of tenderness and redemption? Or will she succumb to revenge and destruction? Can those you let in survive your irreversible choices? Can you?

  • Experimental foods: get a daily "special". Lose the ability to lie, see the world in pink or mistake strangers for your crush. Adapt or spiral when your mind can't be trusted.

  • Pet love: An escaped lab animal known as “GMOuse”. They chose you. There is no love purer than theirs. They will comfort you throughout the game if you choose them back.

  • Explore the fractured world: Meet the people who adapted to living in the Quake Lands instead of the safety of the Science City. Team up to scavenge the rarities the earth spits up in beautiful spots of questionable ecological state.

  • 100% hand-drawn art: every visual is created with tens of thousands of individual strokes by acclaimed artist Irina Kuksova.
