About This Game

HSNU Academy 79th Anniversary Edition

This title serves as the sequel to I Love HSNU and is part of a long-term, passion-driven creative project. We are committed to releasing new commemorative works with unique themes for each upcoming school anniversary.

I. Basic Controls

• Movement: Use W, A, S, D keys to move your character.

• Combat: Left-click for melee attacks; Right-click for ranged attacks.

• Skills: Press 1, 2, or 3 to trigger hidden skills. (Since I have completed my thesis, there is no need to fill out the questionnaire. Simply click on the "Skill" mailbox on the main game screen, enter "123," and press "Check" to unlock these skills.)

II. Phase 1: Narrative Puzzle-Solving (Approx. 1 Hour)

Delve into a parallel school dimension and experience a story-driven puzzle journey with dark-fantasy elements.

• Navigation: Press F2 to open the HSNU campus map and locate event markers.

• Exploration: Visit event markers to trigger cutscenes, rediscover your identity, and explore the relationships between major characters and locations within the academy.

• Critical Decisions: Make pivotal choices throughout your journey. Your final actions at the "Taligo Monument" (behind the school gate) will determine whether you successfully escape the dimension.

• Multiple Endings: The story features various endings (some with darker themes). Successfully reaching the "Normal Ending" will unlock the second phase of the game.

• Focus on Logic: Please note that combat in this phase does not grant experience points or equipment; focus your efforts on solving the puzzles.

(Puzzle Walkthrough Hint: If you prefer to figure it out yourself, skip this! Obtain grain from the barn to feed the cow, take the milk to the female protagonist at the Junior High building, then proceed to the swimming pool rooftop to collect the grass. Finally, head to the back gate to view the monument and suspension bridge cutscenes to complete the game and unlock the full story cinematic.)

III. Phase 2: Open Exploration RPG

Once you uncover the truth and escape the parallel dimension, you will return to the "normal" campus setting.

• Eliminate Monsters: Clear the campus of remaining hostile entities.

• Character Progression: Unlock the leveling system and loot drops.

• AFK Mechanics: Earn experience points through "Chat Room AFK" or monster combat. Your level reflects the time and dedication you have invested in HSNU Academy.

IV. Community Features

Utilize our specialized chat rooms to connect with fellow HSNU members.

• Identity Display: Your class number and name will be displayed above your character.

• Find Peers: Use the chat function to connect with friends and classmates, and share your progress or puzzle solutions.

V. About the Developer

I am a teacher at the Junior High division of the Affiliated Senior High School of National Taiwan Normal University (HSNU), currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Digital Media Design at National Yunlin University of Science and Technology. Driven by a passion for game design, I have previously created interactive projects such as "Bao Gao Zhong" (a traditional exam blessing game) and the Junior High graduation ceremony simulation.

This work is a passion project created for personal interest and is strictly non-commercial. I am already planning a sound-based project for the 80th anniversary; however, please note that it may not be released on Steam. Thank you for your support and understanding.
