What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“As a small indie team, we want to involve the community in the development process to gather feedback and make the best game possible. Early Access allows us to shape the game alongside our players, test mechanics in real-world scenarios, and prioritize the features that the community wants most.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to keep the game in Early Access for approximately [6 to 12 months]. However, this timeline may change depending on the feedback we receive and the additional features we decide to implement during the development process.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand the full version with more [levels, characters, story elements, and gameplay mechanics]. We also intend to polish the overall graphics, optimize performance, fix bugs, and potentially add additional languages based on community requests. Our goal is to offer a much richer and deeper experience in the final release.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version includes the core gameplay mechanics, more than five distinct zones, and basic progression systems. The game is fully playable and stable, allowing players to experience the main loop. However, players may encounter occasional bugs, unpolished interfaces, or missing features that we are actively working on.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We currently have no plans to increase the price during or after Early Access. However, depending on the scope of future updates, new content, and overall circumstances, a price change might be considered later on.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will actively listen to player feedback on our Steam Discussion boards and our official Discord server. We plan to host polls for upcoming features, read all bug reports, and keep the community updated through regular development blogs. Player feedback will directly influence our development roadmap.”

About This Game

SHALTER-03 is a first-person co-op puzzle game where each chapter and characters introduces its own unique mechanics. Taking control of three characters who lack the senses of sight, hearing, and speech, players must work together to overcome these limitations and find the correct solution, all while racing against time to solve each puzzle as efficiently as possible.

Different Puzzles, Different Rules

Every level comes with its own mechanics and rules. Solutions from previous puzzles may not apply to the next. The game is designed to push players to adapt quickly and rethink their approach in every scenario.

Buff and Nerf Systems

Players can use various temporary buffs and nerfs that directly affect how puzzles and the environment behave. Using the right effect at the right moment can make a critical difference when racing against the clock.

First-Person Perspective

The first-person camera creates a direct connection with the environment. Perspective, distance, and timing are essential for both solving puzzles and managing time efficiently.

Race Against Time

Each level has a time limit. Fast thinking, precise decisions, and effective use of mechanics are key. Mistakes cost time, while mastery leads to better performance.
