Manita's conversations run on a third-party AI service, so an internet connection is required. AI conversation time is measured in minutes; the app includes a starting balance, and additional minutes can be purchased in-app. All other features — personality settings, appearance customization, animations, alarms and reminders — work without spending minutes.

All of Manita's dialogue is generated live by artificial intelligence. You type
a message and she replies with AI-generated speech in her own voice — no
dialogue is pre-written, so no two conversations are the same. Conversations run
through Grok (xAI), so an internet connection is required, and all responses
pass through a content filter before playback. Age verification is required
before the chat feature can be used.

The character design, artwork, animations and UI/UX are created by hand and are
not AI generated.
