You are a sailor aboard the modern submarine Ares, operating in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

Not by your own choice, you have found yourself at the epicenter of these events.

The Submarine is a new entry in the Static Dread universe. It takes place in a strange near-future world where a catastrophic aurora has erased much of modern civilization’s achievements, forcing humanity to face unfamiliar threats and impossible choices. Deep beneath a northern sea, you and your crew fight isolation, failing systems, and something far older than any map.

Guide the Ares through black water, piece together what the aurora awakened, and decide how much of your crew—and yourself—you’re willing to sacrifice to see the next dawn.
