What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Because I want to build DraQu with you, not in a bubble. It’s a tavern of cooperative experiences, and for that to truly work I need real matches, real players, and real feedback. I’m also developing it solo right now, so every comment, bug report, and suggestion helps a ton to polish the game and take it where it needs to be.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Roughly 18–24 months. I’m developing DraQu solo, so I’m giving a realistic window rather than a fixed date. I’ll leave Early Access once the core co-op experience is stable, well-balanced, and the game reaches a 1.0-ready level of content and polish. I’ll keep this updated as milestones are reached and community feedback shapes priorities.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Early Access starts with the first table: Nexus, currently focused on 2-player co-op. My plan is to expand the player count (aiming for 3–5 once it’s stable and properly polished), add new cooperative tables with highly replayable runs (including a run-based experience focused on building and training a team of creatures), and grow the tavern with shared progression: profile leveling, achievements, and cross-table rewards. I’ll also keep improving the things that make the biggest difference: UX, accessibility, balance, and stability. All of this can evolve based on feedback, and I don’t want to promise exact dates or guaranteed additions.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Right now, Nexus is fully playable: turn-based co-op with hidden information (hidden hands), limited Mana clues, and shared lives. It’s designed to be fun and stable for 2-player co-op from day one (and it can also be played solo). I’m also launching in 29 languages so players worldwide can enjoy it immediately, and a big focus is making sure everything looks, reads, and feels great across all of them. As the foundation becomes rock-solid, my plan is to add more ways to play Nexus over time, such as variants, timed challenges, and leaderboards.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. The Early Access price will be lower than the planned full-release price. As I add major content and improvements during Early Access, I expect to increase the base price in steps. If the price changes, I’ll announce it clearly in advance via Steam news and patch notes.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Directly. I’ll be active on Steam and Discord, collecting bug reports, suggestions, and feedback on balance and clarity. I’ll post patch notes and development updates regularly, and I’ll use threads/polls when decisions need input. For me, feedback is gold—it helps me prioritize what truly matters in real co-op sessions.”

About This Game

Welcome to the DraQu Tavern — a growing hub of cooperative games where each “table” is a different challenge designed to test your team’s coordination and wits.

We’re opening the doors with Nexus, and over time we’ll be adding more co-op games in future updates.

Nexus is a turn-based challenge built around hidden information: you can’t see your own hand — only your teammates’ cards.

As a DraQu trainer, your mission is to raise your elemental dragon to its maximum level.

Use limited Mana clues, read your team, and make smart choices,

every success strengthens the dragon, every mistake costs the whole team a life.

How to Play (Nexus)

  • Hidden hand: you see your teammates’ cards — never your own.

  • Limited clues (Mana): spend Mana to give helpful hints without spelling everything out.

  • Turn-based decisions: train (play) or discard based on what the team can deduce.

  • Elemental training: fire, water, earth, lightning, and air help your dragon level up.

  • Shared lives: mistakes consume shared lives; when they’re gone, the run ends.

Key Features

  • A tavern of co-op games: the launch starts with Nexus, and more games will arrive later.

  • Communication is gameplay: every clue matters… and sometimes silence does too.

  • Train your elemental dragon while protecting the team’s shared lives.

  • Shared progression: your player profile levels up and carries across all games in the tavern.

  • Cross-game rewards: unlock rewards you can use in other games, and earn interlinked rewards by playing different tables.

  • Scalable difficulty and high replayability thanks to variable setups.

  • Snappy sessions, perfect for “one more run” with friends.

Who It’s For

Ideal if you enjoy modern cooperative board games, clean strategy, and the satisfaction of reading your team to land the perfect play.
