“The game is still in development, with just over the first half complete and playable (5 out of 9 realms). As this continues to be developed, feedback on the direction, balance, and overall design is invaluable. Early access lets us bring the community along on this journey, to allow the game to reach its fullest potential.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Until the ninth realm is complete, and the game can be played from start to end. We roughly estimate this will take two years at current development pace.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to provide all nine realms from mundane to ascension. At this point, we believe we can say it is no longer 'early access', but that does not mean the development will cease. We fully intend to keep on building out the game with new content and systems even after the full version is released.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is fully playable for the first five realms, which comes out to 20+ hours of content (or 50+ if trying to explore every corner of the game). That is almost 300 individual techniques, 60+ crafting actions, dozens of characters to interact with. A whole world to dive into and explore.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Price will steadily increase throughout early access, to reflect the more complete experience. A discount is available throughout early access to thank your efforts in trying an unfinished game, and providing input that helps shape a better product.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We always listen to feedback on the game state as it develops, and such feedback has already caused many changes and shifts in direction. That will be through all channels of talk about the game, from the Discord, to the Steam discussion pages, to Reddit, and more. Additionally, the analytics collected from players about the techniques they use, the content they engage the most with, and other such gameplay data will help with balancing underperforming abilities, focused reworking of the content that is least played, and general course correcting if changes cause a reduction in player enjoyment.”

Begin as a mortal. Ascend through nine realms, each with their own unique mechanics and stories. Feel your meridians burn as celestial energy floods through them for the first time. Watch reality bend as you form your spiritual core. From opening your first meridian to commanding the very forces of creation, every breakthrough transforms both body and soul in ways you never imagined possible.

Master combat to crush all those who would stand before you. Shape your stances from a multitude of unique techniques to combat any foe. Dedicate yourself to one of the six combat schools, or combine them as you pioneer your own path.
