The protagonist once dreamed of becoming a manga artist, but gave up that dream due to parental opposition and countless hardships — eventually becoming a teacher instead.

One day, he crosses paths with Shizuku, a student being forced into an unwanted future by her parents, just as he once was. Not wanting her to walk the same road he once walked, he begins helping her prepare for an art competition.

As he supports her on her unwavering pursuit of that dream, Shizuku grows to rely on him deeply — and that reliance slowly turns into something closer to obsession. Caught between a student who clings to him and his own resolve to help her succeed without ever crossing the line, the protagonist finds himself facing a conflict with no easy answer.
