How the Game Works — Basics

Players are split into two opposing teams (Villagers and Werewolves). The objective: eliminate all players on the enemy team by using “confessions.”

  • A successful confession eliminates the player who was confessed to.

  • A failed confession eliminates the confessor.

  • The game alternates between Day and Night turns. Each turn, every player chooses one action to perform.

Day: Take actions to raise someone’s affection and increase your chances of succeeding later.
Night: Attempt confessions and try to eliminate opponents.

Roles & Player Stats

Roles

There are two roles: Villager and Werewolf.

  • Your team’s role is the same for all teammates; the opposing team has the opposite role.

  • Roles swap every day (Day 1 = Villager, Day 2 = Werewolf, Day 3 = Villager, etc.), so everyone alternates between attacking and defending.

Affection

An affection level measures how much one player likes another (1–4).

  • Each player has an individual affection value for every opponent (only visible to the owner).

  • 4 = love, 1 = dislike. Higher values increase the chance that a confession will succeed.

  • Affection values affect both outcomes when you are confessed to and whether you can successfully confess yourself.

  • Initial affection values are randomized.

Type

Each player has a type (Passionate / Free-Spirited / Gentle) that represents their preferences.

  • Your team’s types are visible to teammates.

  • Types affect date outcomes and how affection changes.

  • Type is randomly assigned at game start.

Actions

The game progresses by alternating Day Turns and Night Turns. Below are the available actions for each role.

Day Turn — Werewolf Actions (examples)

Date (Passionate / Free-Spirited / Gentle)

  • Dates change affection based on types:

    • If the date matches your type, your affection toward the target +1.

    • If the date matches the target’s type, the target’s affection toward you +1.

    • If the date is the target’s disliked type, the target’s affection toward you –1.

(In short: a fun date → they like you more; a bad date → they like you less.)

Longing

  • Set your affection for the chosen target to maximum (4).

    (A one-sided crush — you go all-in!)

Day Turn — Villager Action

Fortune-Telling

  • Reveal a chosen target’s affection toward you to everyone.

  • Only one Villager can use this per day: the first Villager to select an action that daytime turn.

(See how someone really feels about you!)

Night Turn — Werewolf Action

Confess

  • Confess to a chosen target. The result depends on the target’s affection for you:

    • 4 → Confession succeeds: the target is eliminated.

    • 2–3 → No effect.

    • 1 → Confession fails: you are eliminated.

  • Note: You can only trigger a confession if your affection for that target is 3 or higher.

(Mutual feelings win; one-sided love can be dangerous!)

Night Turn — Villager Action

Tempt

  • Prompt a target to choose whether to confess to you.

    • If they choose No, nothing happens.

    • If they choose Yes, they will confess to you.

  • This forced confession is treated differently from a normal confession:

    • It happens regardless of the target’s affection toward you.

    • If your (Villager’s) affection toward the target is 3, the confession succeeds.

  • Outcomes when the forced confession occurs:

    • Your affection 3 or 4 → Confession succeeds → you are eliminated.

    • Your affection 2 → No effect.

    • Your affection 1 → Confession fails → they are eliminated.

(Flirt to confuse and turn the tables!)

Win Condition

Eliminate every player on the opposing team using confessions to claim victory.
