Why Early Access?

Thanks to its slippery and chaotic nature, we plan to expand it with new mini-games, maps, and mechanics together with the community. Early Access allows us to present the game in its current state and shape its development process in collaboration with players.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan for Early Access to last until the core modes, maps, and customization options are in place. We currently expect this process to take around 6 months, but the timeline may change depending on player feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“For the full release, we plan to add:

Football game mode, hockey game mode

New maps and visual themes

Cosmetic customization options for soap characters

Improved online multiplayer experience”

“The current Early Access version includes:

Core soap sliding mechanic

Co-op and single-player modes

Two mini-games: golf and football

Basic online infrastructure and leaderboard

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to offer the game at an accessible price during Early Access so players can experience its core content. As more content is added towards the full release, we plan for the price to increase gradually. The timing and amount of any price changes may depend on development progress and community feedback.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will play a critical role in the development of Soap Slide.

Players will be able to share suggestions and bug reports via the Steam Community forums and our Discord server.

We plan to run polls and surveys regarding maps, mini-games, and gameplay mechanics.

We aim to publish regular developer logs (devlogs) to share progress and gather feedback.

We plan to prioritize the most requested community suggestions that we believe add value to the game.”
