Why Early Access?

“Running a cursed toll plaza is already a complete loop: hire staff, keep traffic moving, repair the road, manage cash, upgrade the operation, and survive whatever the highway throws at you.

Early Access is about making that loop deeper and more replayable with player feedback. The game already has the core management experience in place, but balance, event variety, pacing, late-game pressure, and quality-of-life improvements all benefit from seeing how real players run their tollways.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The current aim is to leave Early Access in October.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to expand what already works: more events, more upgrades, more late-game pressure, better balance, smoother UI, stronger performance, and more reasons to start another chaotic run.

The core loop will stay the same: hire staff, manage booths, keep traffic moving, repair the road, upgrade the tollway, survive disasters, and avoid bankruptcy. Full release is about making that loop deeper, funnier, and more replayable.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The main experience is already in place: traffic management, financial pressure, staffing problems, upgrades, road incidents, cursed events, and the constant risk of one bad shift ruining everything.

That said, this is still an Early Access game which means systems will change and bugs are to be expected. Bug fixes are pushed quickly after any reports.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. The price is expected to increase when the game leaves Early Access.

Players who buy during Early Access will keep the game and receive future updates. Early Access is intended to be the best-value time to jump in while the tollway continues to grow.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I’ll be seeking feedback on the Steam forums and Discord, sharing update plans, and using player feedback to guide what gets improved next.

I’m especially interested in what feels fun, confusing, unfair, too easy, too punishing, or unexpectedly hilarious: balance, bugs, event ideas, staff tuning, upgrade costs, quality-of-life improvements, and future content priorities.”
