Why Early Access?

“As a solodev, early access will help me polish the game by getting more feedbacks from the community and involving players in the creativity process pinpointing on system they want to see improved or implemented. This will also give me time to work on adding missing features that could not be made in time for the early access release.

This will come in the form of a roadmap as well as updates every 2 weeks and community polls to discuss and plan together the future of the game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“End of early access should be around August 2026”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The planned features are the following:
- Cinematics (good ones)
- New levels / missing levels
- New Npcs and Dialogs
- Refined progression
- Improved main menu (with more options)
- Improve existing systems
- More sound effects and polish
- Potential community features if requested by the players
- And of course bug fixing”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“As of early access release, the game will feature:
- The full character controller with all it's power ups.
- 15+ levels in a indie open world.
- Main story NPCs and dialogs
- more than 30 Johnnies to find for full completion”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Please help me make Sonki's Lagoon the full experience it aimed to be, community polls and suggestions will be open for players to give feedback and tell me what features they would want to see improved / implemented.”
