Why Early Access?

“Soul Maze is already playable in online co-op with its core gameplay loop: explore the maze, recover Soul Fragments, and survive the Dark Souls.

During Early Access, we plan to add new maze blocks, trials, mechanics, and improvements based on community feedback.

Our goal is to refine the balance, expand the content, and shape the game together with the players.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to keep developing Soul Maze in Early Access while expanding its content and refining the experience with community feedback.

During this period, we aim to release regular updates including new maze blocks, trials, mechanics, and gameplay improvements.

Early Access will last as long as needed to shape the best possible version of Soul Maze together with the community.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our goal is to increase the variety of environments, challenges, and strategies from one run to another, making every maze feel different.

We will also continue improving the game with balancing, quality-of-life features, and fixes based on player feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Soul Maze is already playable in online co-op with its core gameplay loop fully implemented.

Players can explore the maze, complete trials, recover Soul Fragments, and experience the Light Soul / Dark Soul mechanics across timed rounds.

The current version focuses on delivering a stable and enjoyable multiplayer experience, while additional content and features will be added throughout Early Access.”

“The price will likely increase during Early Access depending on the game's development and added content.”

“Community feedback will play an important role in the development of Soul Maze.

We will actively gather player feedback through the Steam forums and our Discord server to help guide improvements, balance the gameplay, and prioritize future features.

About This Game

Cooperation. Tension. Sacrifice.

Explore a mysterious maze together in 2–4 player online co-op.

In timed rounds, recover Soul Fragments hidden in puzzles and platform challenges before time runs out.

Fail… and your team must vote.
One of you becomes a Dark Soul - and returns next round as the enemy.

COLLABORATE

The maze is testing you, round after round. Work together to navigate the maze and reach the soul fragments you need to survive. But beware, if you fail to bring enough in time, one of your friends will have to pay the price.

STRATEGY

Have you noticed the tall tower rising from the center of the maze? It might just save you. From there, one player can oversee the labyrinth, guiding others through the darkness and locating the fragments. Use it wisely… or ignore it at your own risk.

CHALLENGES

Obstacles, traps, puzzles… The soul fragments won’t be easy to obtain. The maze will test your teamwork and cunning. With every new run, the labyrinth reshapes itself, rearranging its corridors and its trials. You will never walk the same darkness twice.

Watch your step… the maze is always watching.

VENGEANCE

Betrayed and sacrificed by your companions? Fear not, the maze embraces you now. Become a Dark Soul and hunt the living. Sabotage their progress and ensure they never escape the limbo.
