Why Early Access?

“We are currently developing the game together with our small kickstarter community and always had the intention of opening up this community before full release for more people. We have gathered and implemented great ideas from our backers and really like the process of it, that is why we want to do the same for the last bit of content to come (new festivals, recipeces etc.) espacially because our players have a vastly more divers cultural backround then us resulting in creative ideas that really make the game shine.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We want to use the time to polish and add aditional content, it really depends on the amount of input we get, but since it is a very small game to begin with we think it will only be 2-3 months, but if it takes a little longer that is okay as well.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We mostly plan to add more content into already existing systems, like more recipes, customers, festivals and customization options. But if we encounter very great suggestions for bigger addons we may tackle those too (a new game mode as a scope example).”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently all base systems are already developed. We have diffrent customers, seasonsal changes, weather, changing cravings, bakery customization with diffrent furniture/wallpaper options, colors and patterns. There is also a first festival and Special Orders. We've implemented multiple features for diffrent disabilities and are currently translating the game. Some parts of the game are more wellrounded and polished then others. Like, the baking process itself is more fleshed out then the one festival so far.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We're not completly set on the pricing as of yet. But we definitly want to price the Early Access Version a bit lower than the full release Version.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“So far we did a Festival and Recipe Selection where we gatehred ideas from our community and then let them vote for their favourite via a form. We want to do more of those via announcements in Steam Updates and on Discord, aswell as general idea collection and voting for example furniture aswell.”
