About This Game

Unstrung Machine is a frantic action roguelite where you take on the role of Niam, a programmer who ends up trapped inside his own workplace. After a small accident, things spiral completely out of control. Maybe it wasn’t a good idea to combine robots and Artificial Intelligence… but now it might be too late.

FRANTIC COMBAT

Not even Niam can understand where his combat skills came from. A simple sedentary programmer seems to transform into a relentless warrior the moment he realizes he needs to fight to survive the rampaging machines.

With his own fists, he is able to face massive hordes of rogue robots in search of freedom.

EXPLORE ROOMS AND CORRIDORS IN SEARCH OF RESOURCES OR A WAY OUT

It’s not easy to understand. It feels like a strange dream, but with each attempt everything seems different. New rooms, doors where there used to be walls… what is happening?

It’s easy to get lost. You will need attention and exploration to find a way out, discover what is going on, and gather resources to survive.

It’s as if you had never been there before… but that is your own workplace. Niam needs answers.

TAKE CONTROL OF ENEMIES

Exhausted and losing blood, the solution is to conserve energy and use workstations scattered along the way to connect to enemy robots and control them as if they were his own body.

Drones, combat robots, quadrupeds, big or small, all become vulnerable when they lose control to Niam. Now he can use the machines against themselves, conserving energy and increasing his chances of survival.

ARE WE BEING TESTED?

Making decisions is never easy when you don’t know the consequences. During his journey, Niam will constantly face choices that will impact the future, but it won’t always be possible to know which is the best decision.

Test different paths, discover new possibilities, and see how many endings you can reach.
