Why Early Access?

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Entropy is currently planned to be in Early Access for one year, until it is polished and content complete. The game is fully funded and will be launching into 1.0 regardless of the success of Early Access.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Entropy is a game told in 3 acts. We are planning for each act to unlock a new chunk of the game world to explore; complete with new towns, quests, dungeons and characters. Broadly speaking, we plan for each of these acts will constitute a major update in the Early Access process; with minor updates sprinkled in between. The third and final act will be split into 2 parts; with the final part only accessible with the full launch of the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Entropy will launch into Early Access with Act 1 fully playable. This constitutes the 'Gloaming Isles', which is roughly a quarter of the full game. It contains two towns, three dungeons, and numerous smaller locations and challenges - with plenty of characters, weapons, armours and spells to acquire. ”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, the game will enter early access and incrementally increase in price towards the v1.0 release as we release updates with new content and features.
”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We absolutely love involving our community in the development process, and will be eagerly listening to feedback and iterating upon this throughout Early Access. Feedback can be given either on the Steam Community forums or on our Discord server. ”
