Vital Shell is a science-fantasy top-down arena shooter with a distinct PSX-era look, complete with an ambient jungle soundtrack. Take control of your favorite fantasy archetype expressed as a mech. Battle relentless waves of enemies in desolate environments. Equip your shell with unique weapons, traits, and powerful abilities, designing potent builds and synergies with every run.

  • Featuring the first two of five levels, Island Ruins and Ice Caverns

  • Fast runs, 20 minutes to reach the level's boss

  • Play as the Paladin inspired Koenig Shell and Thief inspired Bloodfang Shell

  • 11 Upgradable Weapons

  • 14 Unlockable Items and Abilities

  • Level up as you progress through waves

  • Select weapons, unique abilities, and traits between waves

  • Socket weapons with gems to generate powerful effects

  • All progress in demo applied to the full game
