Why Early Access?

“Early access allows me to continuously enrich the game by adding new content: unique maps, new monsters, and more customization options for players. Your feedback as players is essential during this phase, as it helps me fine-tune the balance between different difficulty levels, improve the monsters’ AI, and refine the gameplay, all with the goal of providing you the best possible experience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I hope to finish early access a few months after the game’s release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“My goal is to enhance the gameplay experience throughout Early Access. I plan to add new maps, new monsters, and additional customization options. I also aim to improve balancing, monster AI, and overall gameplay polish, based on player feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“There are currently two maps available, 12 skins, 40 animations, and 20 outfits. There are 4 difficulty levels.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I plan to increase the price as new content and features are added.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“"I primarily want to listen to player feedback, take their ideas into account, and address any bugs they encounter. This will help improve the game in terms of gameplay, balancing, and features to ensure a better experience for everyone. You can share your feedback on our Discord server.”

About This Game

Urbexophobia is a 1–4 player survival horror game

Urban exploration used to be a thrill. Tonight, it’s a trap. Search, survive, and face your fears—alone or with others.
Just remember one thing: You control nothing.

Will you dare open the door to the unknown?

Rumors are spreading... Forgotten places, long abandoned, are said to hold dark secrets that should never have been disturbed.
Your passion for urbex pushes you inside. But once in, curiosity gives way to pure horror.

Monsters, failed experiments, forbidden technologies, and unpredictable entities—what awaits you defies logic.
Once you enter, there’s no going back.

Solo or co-op — terror shared (or not)

  • Solo Mode

Step into the darkness alone. No backup. No help.
Just you, your flashlight… and your nerves.

  • Multiplayer Mode (1–4 online players)

Face the horror together. Team up with friends or strangers to survive and explore the ruins.
Communication and cooperation are your best weapons.

A unique experience every time

  • Hunt the horrors

Explore. Survive. Eliminate the entities haunting the area. That’s your mission.

  • A rising challenge

As you progress, the creatures become faster, smarter, and deadlier.
Your only tools: what you can find... and your photon amplifier flashlight.

  • Endless replayability

Every run is different. Items are randomly scattered in drawers, cabinets, and on the ground.
The monster AI is unpredictable—you’ll never feel safe.

4 difficulty levels, 4 levels of hell

  • Easy: A discovery mode. Fewer enemies. Softer AI. Learn the basics.

  • Normal: The real game begins. Creatures awaken... and they can hear you. Good luck.

  • Hard: Relentless tension. The entities become brutal, clever, and unforgiving.

  • Urbexophobia: No HUD. No help. No hints. Pure horror. You’re alone in the dark.

Multiplayer Features

Host or join games with friends or strangers. Built-in voice and text chat let you communicate in real time — but stay close… straying too far might cost you everything.

Customization

Personalize your avatar with unlockable characters, animations, and accessories.

⚠️ Photosensitivity Warning ⚠️

This game contains flashing lights and visual effects that may trigger seizures for players with photosensitive epilepsy. Player discretion is advised.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

The game contains scenes of violence involving monsters, featuring visual effects ranging from luminous disintegration to cartoonish explosions of rounded flesh pieces, without realistic blood or graphic mutilation. Some characters wear form-fitting clothing, but there is no explicit nudity.
