“This project is being actively developed on with a small team of indie developers whose updates could take longer than some game titles. The exit from Early Access will happen after a few major updates.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Early access only offers our game's lobby and 1 level with 1-2 characters already chosen for you base on which team you are on in the start of the match.

The full version would have the same amount of gameplay but with more polished systems, visuals, and gameplay. ”

About This Game

CHARGE! is a laser-tag inspired sport in the future. Athletes are split into teams of three and deployed into a fantastic sci-fi arena to be let loose.

Mission
Develop a futuristic themed 3v3 multiplayer FPS that blends old-school arena mechanics with modern sensibilities of fun. A fresh take on weapon functionality and gamemode approaches, focusing on the multiplayer experience.

Gameplay

  • Teams: Players will either join the Attackers or the Defenders when starting in a 3v3 timed match. (Want to go solo? Play with bots!)

  • Team "Attackers": Attackers will go after conquering the "Charge Line Nodes" by shooting all the nodes to the Attacker's color until all 3 sections are under the Attackers' control.

  • Team "Defenders": Defenders will defend the "Charge Line Nodes" by keeping them their color (and taking out the opposite players) to protect the nodes.

  • How to win: If Attackers get all 3 sections locked in before the timer, they win. If the Defenders are able to stop the Attackers from conquering all 3 sections, they win. 

Features

  • Play with 3 different guns to take down your opponent: "LetLoose" SMG, "Prac-cannon" gun, and "Shotebrite Lite" shotgun.

  • Pick up Power Ups to enhance your gameplay in attacking other players or to defend the Charge Line Nodes.

  • Use the environment's obstacles to get you to all 3 sections from jumping, running, and even flying with fan power!
