Take control of one of five rival factions, explore distant star systems, colonize new worlds, and build an interstellar empire powered by money, energy, and raw materials.

Every planet presents new strategic possibilities. Establish colonies, construct industrial and mining complexes, exploit valuable resources, or terraform hostile worlds into new homes for your population.

Build specialized fleets from ten different spacecraft classes. Deploy landing ships to claim unoccupied planets, mining ships to establish outposts, invasion carriers to conquer enemy worlds, and powerful warships to defend your territory or bombard hostile targets from orbit.

Expand your influence, upgrade your faction’s weapons, armor, and engines, and construct colossal Black Star megastructures capable of generating vast amounts of energy. Protect them carefully—enemy attacks can destroy everything you have invested in their construction.
