Why Early Access?

“We believe that to create a fast, exciting, and unique arena shooter, it is very important to fine-tune the gameplay based on real feedback from our players.

TURBOCIDE is a sci-fi third-person party shooter inspired by Halo, Quake, and Unreal Tournament, but it introduces new mechanics such as Killchains, modular armor, and stylized arena customization to deliver a fresh take on the genre.

In order to balance these systems, expand the sandbox, and ensure the game feels fun for everyone, we believe community input is essential.

Therefore, we have decided to release TURBOCIDE into Early Access.

Please lend us your support so that together we can make TURBOCIDE the best it can be”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to continue development throughout Early Access for at least one year.

During this time, we will actively update the game with new maps, modes, weapons, vehicles, and customization options, while also improving balance and performance.

Depending on development progress and community feedback, Early Access may be extended, or if the game reaches a polished state sooner, we may release the full version earlier”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add a wide range of additional content and systems for the full release, including:

More multiplayer modes such as King of the Hill, Domination, and Payload

Additional maps designed for both infantry and vehicle combat

New weapons, power-ups, and customization options

Expanded player progression, achievements, and unlock systems

Enhanced UI, spectator tools, and anti-cheat integration

We are also considering adding new mechanics and features suggested directly by the community.”

“The core gameplay experience is already complete and fully playable:

Classic arena shooter sandbox with weapon pickups, power weapons, and power-ups

Halo-style shield + health system

Killchain mechanics that escalate speed and power leading to a dramatic TURBOCIDE

Multiple maps designed around arena combat and traversal tools

Player customization

These systems ensure that even in Early Access, there is enough content to enjoy matches.”

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We’re asking for feedback through the Steam forums, Discord, and social media.

Arena shooters thrive on balance and player creativity, so we will actively listen to feedback about weapons, maps, customization, and new features.

We also hope the community will be a place where players share strategies, ideas, and their own experiences in TURBOCIDE.

Our goal is to build TURBOCIDE together with our players — refining systems, adding content, and making improvements that the community is most excited for.
