“The current version implements the core match flow, including standard games, custom room rules, day and night actions, discussion and voting, voice chat, and a post-match review. Character content, multiplayer stability, and parts of the player experience are still being refined.”

About This Game

VOICES LIE is an online multiplayer social deduction game played over voice chat. Everyone brings a hidden role to the table. Work out who is against you, make your case, and use your actions and votes to help your side win.

Your word against theirs

When it's your turn to speak, how much do you reveal? Lay out what you know, explain your reasoning, or hold something back and let others tell their stories. Challenge a claim, or build a story that puts suspicion elsewhere.

A convincing explanation may protect an ally from suspicion. It may also give an opponent cover. When the votes are cast, you could remove an opponent—or lose someone on your own side.

Who do you trust now?

The discussion is only part of the match. Hidden roles shape what you know and what you can do. Secret actions can change the situation you're arguing about, and your plans have to account for choices you cannot see.

Morning brings fresh results. Set them against the claims and votes from the day before, then decide whether to stand by your judgment or change your mind.

Use a preset or customize the roles, speaking and action timers, and voting rules to suit your group.

At the end, the roles and key actions are revealed. Look back at the stories you believed. Do they still mean the same thing?
