About This Game

Fresh from wreaking havoc on the vast fields of the Continent, the sword-wielding warrior Rance has reached the eastern nation of Nippon.

With his loyal companion Sill by his side, Rance hopes to enjoy Nippon's hot springs!

Along the way, he somehow becomes the ruler of one of Nippon's feudal states, but Rance isn't satisfied just yet. On the battlefield and beyond, Rance never stops until he gets what he wants, and what our hero wants is... power! Thus, Rance charges out on his quest to unite Nippon and conquer the whole country!

Manage territories, armies, resources, and heroes in a unique blend of grand strategy and RPG gameplay while following the story of Rance in his conquest of Nippon. Your choices will shape the landscape of the ongoing civil war and the rise and fall of different clans in their own bids for power. You will oversee different territories, strengthen your domain, and decide how to expand your influence each turn, balancing offense, defense, and development. When battle comes, the commanders and troops you assign will clash with enemy forces in tactical, turn-based combat, where smart use of your characters' strengths can turn the tide of battle.

Territory and Resource Management

Expand your domain in this grand strategy RPG by conquering and gaining control of neighboring lands, slowly expanding your rule and making the most out of the new resources the new territories can provide for you as well as their strategic value in warfare.

Character Recruitment

As you expand your domain, dozens of notable unique heroes with their own stories and special abilities will join your cause. Assembling a party with the right abilities and skills will determine your success in the different challenges you will face.

Skirmishes and Dungeons

Send your armies to battle alongside your appointed commander, making preparations to face different enemies. Make sure you adjust as necessary for every battle... After all, the enemy possesses their own unique commanders with their own special abilities, as well as different types of units and armies.

You can also send your units to delve into dungeons and hunt to find resources and equipment.

Events and Story Choices

Between battles, story scenes play out depending on how you've managed your army, what areas of Nippon you have conquered, and how far you've advanced. The decisions you take, both in gameplay and during story events, will alter the story as well as open different routes that will allow you to recruit special characters and unlock secrets.

Progression and Replay Value

On top of having a branching storyline, more playthroughs will allow you to try more strategies, letting new tales unfold. The game also features the option to carry over elements from your previous campaign. New playthroughs will offer different outcomes depending on your choices and playstyle.
