About This Game

Battle Halls — this is a tactical action game in the style of plastic toys, where you control a hero and can create a squad from available units that will help you in battles for map locations.

The map itself is similar to a board game where players roll their dice, but it is not a turn-based game, each player makes his own whenever he wants.

After the game starts, you get to your base, where your units are located, most of them are not available at the beginning of the game, but you can unlock them by paying money and reaching a certain hero level.

Most of the units belong to you, and you can use them in every battle, but there are still places for bonus units that can be obtained as a reward after the battle. Many of them are unique, but after participating in the battle they disappear.

You can also buy and equip weapons for your hero and soldier units at the base.

After a victory, perks often drop out, which you can insert into your hero or units, they give increased unit characteristics, such as increased damage, increased speed, or even extra lives.

There is a table with a map in the middle of the hall, almost the entire map is generated by locations, at the beginning of the game they are filled with neutral units that players will need to fight and capture the location.

All locations have a difficulty level at the beginning of the game, it is small, but as the level increases, the level of locations will increase, there will be more opponents, and after capture, you will be able to install more units for protection.

The locations themselves may vary in environment, and the battles may vary in mechanics. In some locations, you need to defend yourself from the waves, while in others, you need to destroy all the enemies you encounter.

When making a move on the map, you roll the dice and move to the dropped square. After that, a passage to this location opens at your base.

Players do not encounter each other in the same location, but they can take over territories occupied by others.

The battle begins with the appearance of your hero on the location, you immediately see the opponents or get information about where and when they will attack.

To fight, you create a squad from the available units, but there is a limit - no more than three soldiers or two pieces of equipment. The hero has another limitation - he cannot leave the circle in the center of which he is located, but he can create blocks for defense.

Using the strength of the squad, weapons, hero skills, as well as your dexterity and strategy, you will have to defeat all the enemies in the location.

After winning, you can get coins, perks, and bonus units. The hero and the units increase their level over time, become stronger, it helps to win in difficult locations. If you have reached the third level, you can capture a location by installing protection from your units on it. A window will appear for arranging your units, at the top - the number of attacks and available locations, in the center — the location of spawns and directions of movement.

Each unit has its own size and speed of movement, you can arrange the units manually, or use auto-completion. if you leave the location empty, neutral units will fill it, after which you will return to your base.

In an online game, you can fight against each other or as a team against other players, where captured locations become common, but this does not mean that you will fight together, where there will be two heroes in the same location.

⚒️ About the progress of the game creation:

In my opinion, the game is 86% ready, and the game is scheduled to be released at the end of this year or early next year.

Now we are working on the balance and finding bugs, then we need to improve the locations and work on a variety of units, add neutral and bonus units and of course bosses, I create all 3D models myself.

There are also plans to add a "fortress" mode, where to win you need to capture a defensive structure on the location, which players can build themselves.

The bots need to be improved, the multiplayer worked in the early version, but it also needs to be improved.
