About This Demo

Step inside the haunted halls of ZOMVAC in this early Prototype Demo. Get a first taste of the game’s top-down 2D pixel horror as you explore a few cursed hotel floors packed with jump scares, quirky NPC quests, and ghost vacuums waiting to suck your brains out.

This demo is a work-in-progress slice with placeholder art, limited rooms, and randomized events to show how the final game’s chaotic retro charm will play.

What’s included in this prototype:
Playroom RNG Kids — Meet Debbie Whitaker and a rotating cast of lost kids like Breezy Fran, Cameron, Toby, and more. Each child has unique plush toys, air bed setups, and random cutscenes every run.

Doug’s Snack Quest — Help Doug get his precious chips, candy bar, or soda by hunting down spare coins. Pick the wrong answer and you might trigger a meltdown or call in a ghost vacuum surprise.

Billy’s Bedtime Pugsey Rescue — Solve a block tower puzzle to rescue Billy’s lost stuffed pug from bullies. Knock the tower over and you’ll face an upset kid and maybe something worse in the shadows.

Spicy Sneak Branching Lies — Outsmart Doug in a Sly Cooper–style lie tree to snag forbidden Wasabi Fire Burst chips for Zach. Pick the wrong fib and Karen’s whistle might summon a ghost vacuum for a jumpscare.

Roaming Ghost Vacuum — A generic haunted vacuum roams certain areas with glowing eyes, rising hoses, and cartoon brain-sucking chaos if you get too close.

Collectibles and Spirit Vaults — Hunt for Spirit Shards and Silver Keys hidden in vault puzzles to test how exploration feels.

Important!
This build is rough. Expect stand-in sprites, unfinished AI, and silly bugs (sometimes on purpose). Your feedback is priceless: every scare, puzzle, and random event will get more polished for the full release.
