About This Game

One summer can't change everything.

But it can change you.

Inspired by the developer's own summer at Cambridge in 2006, It Was That Summer is a story-driven coming-of-age game about the two weeks that decide who you become.

You are Leon, a quiet student from a small Norwegian town. Here, nobody knows you. You can stay yourself, or become Hunter: bolder, louder, and able to get things Leon never could. But every mask has a price.

Attend lectures, cram for the final exam that decides your future, sneak out to karaoke nights, and answer that SMS at midnight. Who you sit with at breakfast, who you take to London, who you let down: every choice echoes.

FEATURES

- Over 60 Endings: no two summers are the same.

- Three Hearts, One Summer: build romance with Lina, Marlène and Elise at the same time, and live with the consequences.

- Leon or Hunter: a dual-persona system where who you pretend to be changes what you get, and what it costs you.

- School Life: attend classes, pass quizzes, write essays, or skip it all for adventure.

- Cambridge, 2006: hand-drawn art, flip phones, SMS and mid-2000s music.

- Minigames and Secrets: take photos, join a football match, uncover hidden endings.
