Wozu Early Access?

„Nighttime Runners is being developed by the very small team at Voidea Games (2, as of July '25). Being a free to play multiplayer game, we want to ensure our 1.0 launch is stable, feature rich, and most of all, fun! Early Access will allow us to get community feedback while we progress towards 1.0. “

„With our current team size, we expect our 1.0 launch to happen in late 2026; however, community feedback or an increase in team size could change this.“

„We plan to expand the game significantly throughout Early Access, guided by feedback from our community. Our goal is to introduce additional multiplayer and social features, improve existing systems, and explore features that go beyond current best practices in similar games. We’re also considering expanding content with more customization options, map events, NPC characters and creatures, factions, ranked play, and accessibility improvements. These additions will depend on development progress and player interest during Early Access.“

„The current Early Access version has the completed game loop, dedicated server support and matchmaking, character selection, gear and item purchasing via in game economy, full controller support (Xbox), text chat and proximity chat, and in game item usage, among other supporting features. “

„We do not plan to charge for the base game. Nighttime Runners will be driven monetarily by cosmetic customization.“

Runners are looking to make it to the other side of the map and back, claiming their unique package. The package contains a randomized prize the player gets to add to their collection if they make it back. You start with a team of 40. Team up, or go it alone, the Runners choice.

Seekers Objective

Seekers are looking to use their elite cooperation and strategy skills to catch as many Runners as possible. Use your flashlight to eliminate Runners from the match, and utilize Walkie Talkies, Pings, Upgraded Flashlights, Flares, and more to assist.
