The Anointed: Heart of David is a third-person, single-player action-adventure game blending platforming, stealth, and biblical history. Step into the sandals of David, a young shepherd boy destined for greatness. With wisdom, skill, and bravery, you will navigate the iconic events and landscapes of Ancient Israel on his journey from shepherd to king.

Explore a linear narrative rich with hidden paths, secrets, and vertical environments. Traverse long distances from Bethlehem on horseback, or move on foot using a robust movement system to walk, crawl, crouch, sprint, jump, vault, scale walls, and swing from ropes.

Defend yourself against wild animals, Philistine forces, and dangerous adversaries using David’s classic arsenal: a sling, staff, sword, and spear. While combat is always an option, utilizing stealth provides the most rewarding strategy.

Guide your journey using historical Dialogues and Scripture Scrolls, and overcome tough challenges with "Prayer Tip" video guides. Instead of traditional meters, manage unique stats—Vitality, Righteousness, and Empowerment—that reflect David's character. Instead of Skill and Experience points, this game measures the player's growth with Traits like: Discipline, Obedience, Courage, Patience, and Humility.
