What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“FPV Stuff is made for pilots, and pilots know best how a quad should feel. Early Access lets us tune the flight, the parts and the spots with you, on many more radios and PCs than we have here. The game is fully playable today.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Around a year, but we go by your feedback, not the calendar. 1.0 comes when the flight feel, the parts and the performance on everyday PCs feel right.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“More of what is already here: more spots to fly, more parts to build with, more polish. We do not promise anything beyond that. Anything that is not in the game today may change or may not come.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Fully playable. Three spots to fly: a field with a dirt track, an abandoned building and a race track with lap times. Build your own quad from about a hundred parts or fly one of four ready made drones. Fly with your own radio or a gamepad, set up in a minute. Every flight is recorded so you can watch it back. English interface, Windows 64-bit.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price may go up a little at 1.0 as more content comes in.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Through the Steam discussions and regular updates. If something feels off, send us the replay of that flight or the share code of your build, and we see exactly what you saw. Every update comes with notes on what changed and why.”

About This Game

Whether you are learning to hover or fly freestyle every weekend, FPV Stuff is a place to practice, build and tune.

Flying

  • Acro, Angle and Horizon on the switches you choose
  • Betaflight-style rates, PIDs and modes, with a CLI to paste in your diff or copy one out
  • Digital HD or analog video feed
  • OSD layout editor with three profiles
  • FPV and chase camera

Fly setup

Pick a spot, a mode (free flight, race or freestyle), your quad and where to start, then take off. Or hit Ready to fly and you are back in the air with your last setup in one click.

Workbench

About a hundred parts: frames, motors, props, batteries, stacks, cameras, video and more. Build anything from a 65 mm whoop to a 5 inch freestyle quad, or start from one of four stock drones: a whoop, a cinewhoop, a race quad and a freestyle quad. Every build and stock drone sits in one overview, and you name your own. Weight, thrust to weight, hover throttle and flight time update with every part you swap, and one key takes the build into the air. Save your builds and share them as short codes.

Setup

Plug in your radio over USB or use a gamepad. The setup maps your sticks and switches as you move them, in any stick mode.

Spots

  • A field with a dirt track
  • A three storey bando
  • A race track with 12 gates, lap times and splits against your best lap

Replays

Every flight is recorded. Watch it back from your goggles, a chase cam or a free camera, scrub through it and slow it down.
