Why Early Access?

“While the basic functionalities of our app are up and running, we want to provide a more efficient, user-friendly and powerful experience with feedback from the community. Early Access is a great opportunity for us to test our app in real user scenarios to identify bugs, optimise performance and prioritise and improve the most requested features. In this way, we believe that when the full version is released, we will be able to offer a product that users really need.”

Approximately how long will this software be in Early Access?

“We plan to keep our application in early access for about 1 month. During this period, we will make content additions and balance adjustments taking into account community feedback. However, this period may be extended according to the needs that may arise during the development process. It is our priority to ensure that our application reaches its best form.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the full release, we aim to improve the user experience, make the balancing more robust and increase the variety of content based on user feedback. We plan to work on interface improvements, new features. We may also experiment with some additional modes, options or optional systems.

But as always, these developments will be shaped together with our users. For this reason, we want to focus on the natural development of the application rather than setting strict limits on what will be included in the full version.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Quick Translate Engine is currently fully operational with its basic functions. The real-time translation feature is active and has been successfully tested in many games. The interface is simple and user-friendly, and basic features such as language preferences are available.

This version is open for improvement, taking into account your feedback. The infrastructure is ready for performance improvements, new languages, game-specific settings and additional features that will improve the user experience.

Although the application is stable, minor improvements are planned in some special scenarios (full compatibility with certain games, delay in very fast translation streams, etc.). This kind of feedback will be very valuable for us during Early Access.

In the near future we will offer a personalised API to improve translation quality.”

Will this software be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“During the Early Access period, we plan to offer our users the app at a more affordable price. The value of the app will increase with the feedback we receive and new content we add during this period.

As we get closer to the full release and important updates are released, it is possible that the price will gradually increase. However, these increases will be offset by additional content and enhancements provided to our users.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will play a key role in the development of Quick Translate Engine. We aim to continuously improve the app based on comments, bug reports, and suggestions from our users.

We will carefully evaluate every feedback received via the Steam community forum and e-mail. We especially value your feedback on which games you're experiencing, which features are missing, or what could work better.

We will regularly analyse your feedback to shape our roadmap and prioritise the most popular improvements. With the support of the community, we want to create a translation engine that makes everyone's experience stronger.”
