Severance

Severance is a 1–5 player co-op paranormal investigation game… with a twist.
Use tools and equipment to identify the correct ghost type while a dangerous, violent entity hunts you down.
The twist? YOU can become the ghost.

Choose how you play:

• Face a smart Ghost AI designed to stalk, scare, and hunt investigators.

• Or enter an asymmetrical mode, where one player takes full control of the ghost and hunts real players.

🧟 Ghost Player Mode (Asymmetrical)

In asymmetrical mode, one player becomes the ghost.
Control the entity directly, manipulate the map, scare investigators, lock doors, throw objects, and plan hunts strategically. Outplay the team by managing sanity, timing hunts, and creating fear before striking.

👻 Ghost AI Mode

In Ghost AI mode, the entity is controlled by an advanced AI that actively observes investigators, reacts to their actions, and builds pressure over time.
It uses the environment, drains sanity, and hunts when the moment is right, creating tense, unpredictable investigations.

🔎 Play as the Investigator

Use classic paranormal equipment to gather real evidence and identify the ghost type.
Be aware, the ghost sees and hears you. Every scare, interaction, or mistake can become valuable evidence if you stay calm under pressure.

🎧 Immersive Horror

Severance features realistic visuals, environmental audio, and a minimal UI for full immersion.
Every sound, shadow, and flicker could be a clue… or a warning.

🛠 Signature Equipment

Arm yourself with classic paranormal tools like EMF meters and thermometers, alongside unique devices such as possession dolls to track and provoke the entity.

🤝 True Co-op

Success relies on teamwork. Share evidence, communicate clearly, and watch each other’s backs, because whether it’s AI or a real player, the ghost is always listening.
