Why Early Access?

“We chose Early Access to involve players directly in the development of Mall Control. This helps us improve the game continuously and shape new content with the community’s input.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Mall Control to remain in Early Access for around 6 to 12 months. During this period, we plan to introduce new types of shops, expand the city with new zones, and add extra gameplay mechanics. Our goal is to gradually build a richer and more varied experience, while actively listening to community feedback to improve existing features.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the full version of Mall Control, we plan to build upon the foundations of the Early Access release with several possible additions and improvements:

New shop types and city zones: As development progresses, we aim to introduce more stores to manage and unlock new areas in the city, allowing players to expand their mall empire.

Expanded multiplayer content: We’re exploring the addition of new cooperative missions and competitive gameplay elements to encourage both collaboration and rivalry among players.

Improved AI and interactions: We plan to enhance customer behaviors, rival shopkeeper interactions, and add more dynamic nighttime gameplay for added tension and challenge.

Live events and community challenges: We’re considering online events and community-based challenges where players could test their management skills and potentially compete on global leaderboards.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version of Mall Control already includes:

A core set of shops to manage

Stock management mechanics and competitive sabotage features

Solo mode and online co-op with friends

Night missions focused on hacking and sabotaging rival stores

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price is currently set for Early Access and may change as we introduce new content and features. We plan to increase the price as we add more updates and enhancements to the game. However, Early Access purchasers will receive all future updates free of charge, and the final price will reflect the full version of the game once it's officially released.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community will play a central role in the development of Mall Control. We plan to rely on player feedback to:

Improve gameplay: Feedback on shop balance, sabotage systems, and online interactions will help us fine-tune the core mechanics.

Add content based on community interest: Whether it's new types of shops, customization features, or AI improvements, we’ll prioritize popular requests to shape future updates.

Host public tests: We intend to run regular public playtests to experiment with new features before integrating them into the main game. Players will be invited to take part and help us shape the final experience.”
