Why Early Access?

“Early Access allows us to shape Drudgemark hand-in-hand with our community. Thanks to the feedback of our players, we can react quickly to suggestions, balance requests and quality-of-life improvements. This feedback loop is very important to us.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We aim to leave Early Access within a year after launch. However, this timeline may shift depending on development progress and community feedback. One thing is certain: we will not leave Early Access until Drudgemark feels like a finished, polished and complete experience.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will reflect the entire roadmap: multiple maps, stable co-op, more game modes (like Siege and Endless), deeper AI behaviors, refined combat, and tons of QoL improvements. Our vision is to deliver a polished, replayable and truly epic Drudgemark experience with great battles and economy simulation, shaped together with our players.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core of Drudgemark is already playable. Defend your castle against ever stronger waves in Campaign or Survival. Recruit and arm your troops and lead them in formation. Build up your economy and forge the steel that keeps your army alive. Then fight on the front line yourself, side by side with your men.

All of it works in co-op with your friends (or foes, friendly fire is always on).

This is just the beginning. A lot is already in and a lot more is on its way.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. The price will increase with the full release. The exact amount will depend on the scope of added content and final polish. Right now, we want to reward early supporters with a lower price and the opportunity to help shape the future of the game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We read feedback on our Discord and the Steam Community Forums. While we may not reply to every message, we actively monitor all channels and prioritize highly requested features. We are also open to exploring other ways to include our community.

About This Game

Hordes born of black magic are marching on your walls. Their origin is unknown, their hunger endless. Hold the gate and stand your ground wave after wave until their dark power runs dry. Or test how long you can last in Survival mode

You are not just a soldier. You are the commander. Recruit and arm your troops, send them into formation and decide if they charge or hold the line. Or draw your blade and get your own hands bloody beside your men. Every decision is yours and every decision counts

An army is only as strong as what feeds it. Turn raw ore into iron, iron into steel and steel into swords for the men at the gate. The waves grow stronger and so must your supply
