Metro City, 1999. Leather-jacket-wearing, chain-smoking, no-nonsense detective Jason Maxx is on the case, danger lurking behind every corner like a surprise birthday party of crime.

Things, however, might get a little goofy.

Metro City is an absurd place full of goofballs, miscreants, dirtbags and the occasional murderous maniac, plus plenty of sight gags and low poly, retro 3D graphics. Sarcastic quips, visual humor and low-res textures abound!

A corpse is seen. The tone of the game is dark and atmospheric, but the dialogue is often very comedic and the characters often behave in silly ways. The game is rather self-aware and satirical; it doesn’t wallow in the darkness.
