In this dark fantasy world, ascend a twisted, ever-changing Tower to rescue captured villagers and confront a mysterious evil lurking at its peak. Rise of the Dark Tower is a rogue-lite built for replay-ability, blending tight, skill-based combat with challenging floors, randomized loot, and dynamic enemy encounters. Each run offers new relics, abilities, and paths, encouraging creative builds and adaptive strategies. Unlock upgrades, uncover hidden secrets, and survive intense boss battles that test your mastery of the game’s systems.

Our project is in the building stages and we are providing a free demo for you to help test and expand on. We are gamers ourselves and want to build games for, and with other gamers like you. Features:

• True rogue-lite progression: Each run is a fresh start where your choices and skill matter. Unlock powerful relics, weapons, and abilities as you climb. Randomized traps, puzzles, and enemies ensure every attempt is unpredictable—rewarding the cunning and punishing the careless.

• Randomized hazards and build-defining abilities: No two runs play alike thanks to a vast pool of loot, weapons, and blessings that combine in surprising ways. Your success depends on adapting your build to the challenges and perks you find.

• Fast-paced action combat that rewards skill: Combat is tight and responsive, demanding quick reflexes and smart decision-making. Dodging, running, and striking are only part of the fight—knowing when to press the advantage or retreat can be the difference between survival and starting over.

• A quirky and memorable cast of characters: Meet a variety of unique personalities with distinct voices and stories. These encounters add humor, mystery, and depth, making the journey through the Tower feel alive and engaging.

Beta Demo Features:

• Players will be able to advance through 5 floors out of 13 in total

• Only 1 boss fight will be available in our demo release, however we do plan to provide updates that will include up to 2 boss fights.

• Only a total of 5 floor enemies will be available for our demo, but with future updates during the beta test we plan to release 2 more.

• As of right now we feature partial voice acting for characters. We plan to include more voice lines as our testing progresses.

• There are special abilities featured in the game, and as our beta continues, we plan to release even more the players suggest through polls and other contest events.

During the beta demos duration, players will have the chance to help mold and improve our game. We plan to give you all the chance to influence decisions, and give us ideas in order to shape it to your liking. Come join us on indiegogo or any of our social media platforms
