About This Game

In À La Mine, you play as crafty, ambitious dwarves who’ll stop at nothing to seize the mine… even if it means getting outsmarted by someone sneakier than you.

This turn-based strategy game blends tense auctions, explosive area control, and backstabbing cooperation, all wrapped in an offbeat tone. Crush your rivals and control the most territory, by any means necessary.

À La Mine is built around two distinct phases, offering asymmetric gameplay dynamics:

Phase 1 – Exploration & Conquest
Scout the mine in search of precious territory. Every tile you reveal sparks a new auction: bluff, bid... or back off. Not into diplomacy? Take it by force and blast your way through!
But beware: only players who connect 4 tiles become owner…

Phase 2 – Rivalry & Sabotage
Some dwarves have seized control of the mine… but the game is far from over.
To win, they’ll need to link 6 tiles while holding off sabotage attempts. Meanwhile, the exploited regroup in the shadowsto sabotage the mine.

Secret missions, coordinated actions, unexpected twists… here, cooperation becomes a weapon.
Unity is power, but deceit still rules the day.

Each game is spiced up with strategy-changing event cards, and tense confrontations to defend or conquer key territories.

You’ve discovered a new territory… and you want it bad?
Start the bidding and set your price. But the moment you show interest, the others can jump in—and raise the stakes.

Observ the game, anticipate your opponents, and stay one step ahead.
Can they really outbid you? Are they bluffing? Or just waiting for you to crack?

Auctions unfold in two phases:

• You announce your opening bid.

• The auction opens and becomes dynamic: anyone can outbid you, anytime, until the timer runs out.

At the end of the countdown, the highest bidder wins the tile…
Unless they were bluffing. If so, he'll have to pay the price...

Want to go full brute force? Then confrontation is made for you.
Pick a territory you own, choose a target… and launch the siege.

Battles are resolved with dice, a fast, treacherous system blending tactical choices and calculated risk.

You and your opponent roll your dice. Whoever gets the most dynamites wins the fight.
Win, and the tile is yours. If you lose, be prepared to pay.

Need a second chance? Spend some gems to reroll key dice.
Will you play it safe, or risk it all on a final roll of the dice?

Take risks. Bluff hard. And hit where it hurts.

At the start of every round, a new event enters the fray, shaking up the game.
A lucky bonus? A nasty penalty? A rule twist from nowhere? Anything goes, and it usually hits when you least expect it.

Had a flawless plan in mind? You'll have to adapt and improvise.
A dozen unique events spice up each game, making every game unpredictable, chaotic, and unforgettable.
