Why Early Access?

“The core game is fully playable and has been available on other platforms, but the Steam edition introduces its own progression system, Steam-exclusive gameplay environment, and PC-specific features. We are using Early Access to gather community feedback while refining these Steam-specific systems, balancing gameplay, improving the overall PC experience, and polishing new features.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect SkillWarz to remain in Early Access for approximately 12 months. The exact duration will depend on community feedback and the level of polish we want to achieve before considering the Steam edition complete.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to continue refining the Steam edition by expanding Steam-specific content, improving gameplay balance, polishing the overall PC experience, and enhancing existing systems based on community feedback. Planned improvements may include additional maps, weapons, customization options, quality-of-life improvements, and other gameplay features where appropriate.

Our goal is for the full release to provide a more polished and complete experience while preserving compatibility with the cross-platform version where it makes sense.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is fully playable and includes both Crossplay Mode and the Steam-only mode. Players have access to multiple game modes, maps, progression, unlockable weapons, attachments, perks, skins, leaderboards, daily contracts, challenges, and an in-game shop using currency earned through gameplay.

The Steam version also features enhanced visuals, improved performance, expanded graphics settings, and additional PC-specific features.

As with any Early Access title, you may still encounter bugs, balance adjustments, and features that continue to be refined.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We currently expect the Early Access price to be lower than the final release price. As the Steam version becomes more polished and feature complete, we may gradually increase the price to reflect its overall value.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback has been an important part of SkillWarz since its first public release. We actively encourage players to share ideas, report bugs, and provide gameplay feedback through our community forums and other channels.

Player feedback helps us refine gameplay, improve balance, and prioritize future improvements throughout Early Access.”
