Why Early Access?

Early Access gives us the opportunity to focus on refining core systems like survival mechanics, world exploration, and crafting, while exploring the addition of new features over time.

By launching in Early Access, we can gather valuable player input to help guide improvements and adjustments. We believe that community feedback can be instrumental in shaping the direction of the game, and we’re excited about the opportunity to develop Afterheat alongside our players.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect the game to remain in Early Access for at least a year, possibly longer. During this time, we aim to expand the game with new features, improve existing mechanics, and refine the overall experience based on feedback. However, development priorities and timelines may change depending on community input and technical constraints.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our goal for the full release is to offer a more complete and immersive experience. We’re exploring the possibility of expanding the world with more diverse environments, new enemies, and additional crafting options, as well as introducing a more developed storyline. We also plan to continue improving polish and performance. These goals may evolve over time based on player feedback and development progress.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version offers a solid foundation of core gameplay systems, including survival mechanics, dynamic weather, crafting, and resource management. Players can explore part of the game world and experience key survival features, although some content and systems are still in development.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to keep the price lower during Early Access to thank players who choose to support development early. We expect to increase the price slightly for the full release, but we intend to keep the game affordable. Occasional discounts or special promotions may also be offered during Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to engage with the community through regular updates, surveys, and discussions on platforms like Steam and Discord. Feedback from players will help us prioritize what to improve or expand. We also welcome players to share their experiences and suggestions as development continues.”
