Why Early Access?

“As a new developer, we want to make Dawn the best experience it can be. We also have plenty of new features we wish to add along the way and while Dawn remains in early access we plan on updating, listening to feedback, and improving the game. We want to work with our community to accomplish these ambitious goals!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We want to avoid giving specific time frames as we are a very small development team. The early access release provides us with a foundation to build off of and update/add to until we feel that the game is in a fully finished state. We are estimating the game will spend 3-4 years in early access, but this is indefinite.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We are planning to expand the open world, add new gameplay mechanics, more melodies, more monsters, and a possible main storyline.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“This early access launch offers a large amount of final-release quality features, one fully completed region, and serves more as a demo area for players to try out features, explore the open world, offer feedback, and we will expand the game off of this foundation.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“As more content is added to Dawn, we will be steadily raising the price depending on how close the game is to full completion.”
