About This Game

In Hope Voiden is a first-person survival horror game of permanent death and persistent consequences that puts stakes front and center. Control a roster of twelve handcrafted characters as you explore the surreal trench ridden hellscape scarred by fanatic beliefs and entropic forces.  Each individual character has a personal mission, unique traits, and only one life. Every action matters. Every failure lingers.

Resources go beyond the likes of keys or medical supplies and challenge the management of the most fundamental resource of all: Lives

Every single character brings a unique combination of traits and their own ambitions luring them deeper into the zone. Whether they will find their son, redeem their faith, cleanse their name or betray their command depends on you. Will you die a coward? Or become a martyr? Every action matters because the stakes are real and personal.

Persistence permeates the world. Items used are gone, progress is carried over, and past failures shape the present. The world offers a multitude of interactions unique to characters, their traits and your approach to impeding obstacles. Will you face the danger head on? Flee and find a way around? Or hide and pray for the best? All culminating in handcrafted epilogues to the story, with every consequence and outcome a valid end to your narrative.

Manage your inventory, scavenge and craft. Choose to fight, hide or flee and watch your resources closely. Enemies are disposable at a price, secret shortcuts may require cunning, and the world beckons with deep systems and new takes on familiar formulas.
