What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We want to involve players in shaping Airport Inspector as it develops. The core gameplay is already playable and enjoyable, and during Early Access we plan to expand features and content over time. Player feedback will help guide how the game evolves and what improvements are prioritized.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Airport Inspector to be in Early Access for approximately one year from release. During this time, we plan to expand the game with new mechanics, content, and improvements based on community feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand the game over time by increasing the content pool, introducing additional mechanics, adding more events, expanding progression systems, and continuing to improve overall polish. Player feedback during Early Access will help guide development priorities, though specific features and scope may change as development continues.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is playable and includes most of the core mechanics currently planned. Players can experience luggage inspections, passenger interrogation, reputation management, the marketplace system, and progression between airports. While additional features and polish are planned, the current version represents a solid and enjoyable snapshot of the game’s ongoing development.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan for the Early Access price to be lower than the price at full release. Pricing may change over time as development progresses, and the final price will reflect the scope and state of the game at launch.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to communicate regularly with the community through platforms such as Discord and email. Players will be able to share feedback, suggest ideas, and report issues, which may help inform development priorities as Airport Inspector continues to evolve during Early Access.”

About This Game

Airport Inspector

Airport Inspector is a security and management simulation where every decision matters. You work as an airport security inspector responsible for controlling who enters, what passes through, and what consequences follow your choices.

Inspect luggage, interrogate passengers, analyze data, and respond to unpredictable events all while managing your reputation, income, and daily expenses. One mistake can cost you money, trust, or much more.

Inspect. Decide. Live with the consequences.

Each shift brings a limited number of passengers, each with their own background, intentions, and risk level. Your task is to determine who can pass and who cannot — using the tools available to you.

Some passengers are innocent. Some are not.
You will never have perfect information.

Core Gameplay Features

Passenger Interrogation
Question passengers to uncover hidden or false information. Stress, behavior, and validation influence how much they reveal. Push too hard and risk escalation. Trust too easily and deal with the consequences later.

Luggage Inspection & X-Ray Scanning
Every passenger carries luggage filled with legal and illegal items. Use manual inspection and X-ray scanning to identify threats. Confiscate illegal items, hold objects for closer inspection, or let them pass — each choice affects reputation and income.

Data & Computer Systems
Access databases containing passenger records, item legality, surveillance cameras, and incoming plane information. Cross-check data, review confiscated items, and manage airport systems from a central computer.

Random Events & VIPs
Unexpected situations can happen at any time: VIP arrivals, suspicious behavior, lost items, or security incidents. Adapt quickly or pay the price.

Lost & Found System
Passengers may lose items around the airport. Locate them manually, use drones to track them, or hire staff to handle the work automatically. Solve simple interactions to return items correctly.

Upgrades & Expanding Control
Unlock new mechanics such as inspection rooms, drones, surveillance systems, specialized tools, and support staff. Upgrades unlock between shifts and permanently change how you play.

Economy, Reputation & Penalties
Your income depends on your decisions. Confiscate items for profit, sell them on the market at a reputation cost, or play by the rules and earn trust. At the end of each shift, expenses and penalties are deducted. Run out of money and the game ends.

Travel

Expand your horizons by unlocking new and larger airports, each with greater responsibilities, more complex mechanics, and increasingly stressful situations. Manage the chaos and prove you can handle airports of any size.

Airport Struggle

Handle demanding passengers and unexpected situations, from misunderstandings to security challenges. Decide how you want to play: accept bribes and risk damaging your reputation for extra money, or focus on building connections, managing resources carefully, and running the airport honestly. Every choice affects your success, your stress levels, and how smoothly your airport operates.

No Right Answers

Accepting a criminal may lead to implied future consequences.
Rejecting an innocent passenger may result in complaints or pressure.
Using force may stop an incident — or create a bigger problem.

Airport Inspector is about judgment under uncertainty.
