About This Demo

Cendovia Uprising is a turn-based battlefield card game. In each battle, you play cards to advance your army across the battlefield. Destroy the enemy's leader before they destroy yours. Tailor your decks to suit your strategy. In this demo you will navigate challenging terrain as you fight to regain your homeland region of Lochstontide. You can then continue this campaign in the full version to conquer all of Cendovia.

Conquer the Island and Each Other

Cendovia Uprising offers 3 play modes, but only Campaign Mode is available in the demo.

  • Campaign Mode (PvE): plot your course across Cendovia as you compete in a series of battles to conquer the island. You will only be able to complete the first 10% of the Aquatic Isolationist campaign in the demo. And the other nine faction campaigns are not in the demo.

  • Scrimmage Mode (PvE): play stand-alone matches against NPCs of your choosing. Not available in demo.

  • Online Mode (PvP): battle against others online in public or private matches or tournaments. Not available in demo.

Build the Ultimate Deck

Your deck consists of your leader, starters, and reserves. Every battle begins with only your leader on the battlefield and your starter cards in your hand. In subsequent turns, you draw cards from your reserves. Tailoring your decks to match the terrain and opponent can aid you in combat.

Hone your Strategy

Your cards have a wide variety of attributes that influence their abilities. Learn the powers of each card by reading their stats. Manage your resources to ensure you can fund your battles. And watch replays of any of your matches to study your tactics to improve your strategy. Or just relive your glorious victories.

Expand Your Empire

There are over 50 unique battlefields spread across the island of Cendovia, but only 5 are available in the demo. While they are all grid based, they vary in size and terrain. A wide variety of terrain effects present both obstacles and opportunities.

In campaign mode, when you capture a territory you gain access to its facilities, which can help you fund and strengthen your army.

Reunite Your People

It's 2074. A decade has passed on the remote island of Cendovia since the robot uprising. With great struggle, humanity eventually gained the upper hand against the robotic Takan Guard. After surrounding the robots in the center of the island, the people became embroiled in territorial disputes amongst themselves. Despite most factions sharing Vergenessa as their common goddess, their distinct ideologies kept them apart.

A civil war known as The Fracturing ensued. When the dust settled, ten factions, including the Takan Guard, divided the island into ten regions. A tenuous peace descended allowing the inhabitants to rebuild. Slowly and quietly they prepared for a return to hostilities. Now, Cendovia finds itself on the brink of another civil war and your people must again fight for their survival.

What's in the game?

Cendovia Uprising comes with over 400 cards which is more than enough for any playstyle you choose. In the full version, you can play as any of the 10 factions. But in the demo you can only play as the Aquatic Isolationists. All players start with the same set of cards. There are no loot boxes and it's not pay to win.

While all these cards are available to you in scrimmage and online modes in the full version of the game, in campaign mode you start with a small set of cards in your deck and gain more as you progress. Campaign mode is the only mode in which you can mix fighters from different factions into the same deck.
