“We want to make Good Boy directly with community involvement, as we iterate and craft the game based on what people are most excited about. We hope to not only build a great game, but also a great community of players. Early Access is a great fit for a project like this. ”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We anticipate being in Early Access for 6-12 months, but that will depend heavily on what our players want to see. If they want us to make the game even bigger, we're open to the idea!”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Early Access has limited content and very early versions of the game systems. In the full version we would like to introduce
-At least double the number of mobs
-At least double the number of heists, with new level sets to add more variety to the levels.
-200-300 additional lootable items
-Many, many, many, more objectives, lore additions, and less tangible improvements like core loop improvements, cosmetics and basement upgrades, and more.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is fully playable by 1-6 people, with a fun and engaging core gameplay loop and a collection of levels, masks, and loot that's expanding with every update.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. As we get closer to 1.0, we anticipate raising the price a little bit to reflect a more finished project.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We have a lot of options for players. First, there’s a feedback form linked in the game. Second, we take comments and questions in our Discord, and we try to pay attention and be responsive on Steam Forums or on Social Media. We also regularly stream development work to our twitch channel where we welcome feedback and community building. We very much want the community’s feedback and suggestions, so reach out to us however you can!”

Steal Swiftfully and QUIETLY

Acquire piles of epic loot without making noise, or risk summoning mutated pets that defend the town. Every dropped lamp and bumped corner will fill up the noise meter, and lead the squad one step closer to chew toy territory. That’s you. You’re the chew toy.
