Why Early Access?

“Alchemy Factory still has many features worth adding that we believe will bring entirely new gameplay experiences. However, due to our limited team size, we need more time to develop them. Therefore, we have chosen Early Access to allow players to experience the game first, while we continue to enhance and polish the experience through iterative updates.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Based on our development cycle for new features, we estimate that Alchemy Factory will remain in Early Access for approximately 6 to 12 months. However, if we have more creative ideas or decide to rework certain gameplay systems, this period may be extended.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to optimize existing gameplay mechanics, and some UI elements may be redesigned. Most importantly, we plan to add significant new features, such as the Rail System. This was an idea we had early in development but could only implement after launch. The Rail System will offer much higher transport capacity than Conveyor Belt, and players will even be able to ride the trains to tour their factory. We also have several conceptual gameplay mechanics in mind.
We will share these in our upcoming roadmap and adjust them based on player feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of Alchemy Factory already offers dozens of hours of gameplay content. Players can experience the complete journey from a magic apprentice to an industry-dominating alchemy magnate. Additionally, the Early Access version fully supports multiplayer. Players can freely team up to build an automated factory together.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We have established communities on Discord, bilibili and other social media platforms. Players can interact with us there or provide feedback and suggestions through the Steam Community Discussions. Over the past period, hundreds of players from the Alchemy Factory Demo have provided valuable feedback that helped us improve the game. Moving forward, we will continue to place player feedback at the center of our development as we push toward the full version.”
